Earth Day Ceremony (Dear Earth) 地球感謝の祭 for April 2026

April 2, 2026

On Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 at 7:00 PM (Pacific), we will hold our annual Earth Day (Dear Earth) 地球感謝祭 Shinto ceremony to show our respect and gratitude to the Kami-sama, nature spirits, and to remind ourselves that we are sharing this planet with other lives. It is also a ceremony to renew our vows to take care of this planet and each-other.

The Earth Day Ceremony and closing talk will be open to the public!
Please join us to hear from our special guest, Adrienne Blythe, Master of Ecology, University of Auckland, New Zealand, who will talk about the relationship between people, freshwater plants, and the environment.

Please join us to renew your commitment to our planet!

When you visit a Shinto Shrine, the custom is to put some Osaisen into the donation box.

Your contributions allow us to hold more ceremonies, and make our dreams of building a Shinto Shrine in Los Angeles come true!! You can use Paypal Giving Fund to donate without fees.
