Groundbreaking ceremony to pay respects to the land where new construction will be taking place.
In Japan, it is customary to hold a groundbreaking ceremony before construction begins on a new building or home to pay respect to the land, locals and the Kami-sama, to pray for safe construction, and for the future prosperity of the users of the new building.
We bless not only the land, but also the family or company, construction team, equipment, everyone involved in the project, and the surrounding community.
The ceremony has a minimum donation of $ 1,000 to $ 2,000, depending on the size and setup, plus travel fees and accommodations when applicable. Remote Jichin-sai is also available via Zoom. Contact us for more details.
