Live stream of Shinto ceremony to Pray for a Rapid End to the Coronavirus Pandemic

Shinto Shrine of Shusse Inari in America will hold a Shinto ceremony to pray for a rapid end of the Coronavirus pandemic on Sunday, April 5^th, at 12noon (PDT).

We plan to stream the ceremony on Instagram live (@ShintoInari). We hope that you can pray with us wherever you are at the time.

The program of the ceremony will be as follows:

1. 修祓 Shubatsu: Purification
2. 斎主一拝　Saishu Ippai: A Single Bow
3. 献饌 Kensen: Presentation of Offerings
4. 祝詞奏上 Norito Sōjō: Prayers
5. 玉串拝礼 Tamagushi Hairei: Ritual Stick Offering
6. 撤饌 Tessen: Removal of Offerings
7. 斎主一拝　Saishu Ippai: A Single Bow
8. 閉式　Closing the Ceremony
