At Tsukinami-sai, we show our respects and communicate our gratitude, wishes, dreams and determination, and ask for blessings from Kami-sama (Nature Spirits), for everyone and especially for our members! During the ceremony, we also remind ourselves of our feelings of gratitude.

Shichi-go-san is a day to visit a Shinto Shrine to show your gratitude for your children’s growth and pray for their future to Kami-sama. It is not just a “wear a kimono and take pictures” day. Without the Shinto ceremony, it would be the same as cosplay. In our tradition, Shichi-go-san is a day to visit a Shinto shrine with a feeling of gratitude and celebration. Let’s properly convey Japanese traditional culture to the next generation!
