In-person Shichigosan, Gokitล & Aki Matsuri
Date: Sunday, November 15th, 2026
Time: 8 am to 7 pm
Location: Carson, CA

We need your help in making various Shinto ceremonies happen!
An in-person Shrine event takes many hands to be successful. This is also a great opportunity if you need community service hours for school, college, or work.
You don’t have to live in Los Angeles to volunteer in person. Anyone is welcome to volunteer for our Events.
(Transportation and accommodations are your own expense)
!! Volunteering for events like these are great opportunities
to learn about Shinto and Japanese culture in person !!
If you have any questions please email our volunteer coordinator,

Storage load up
10 am – 11:30 am: Meet at our storage unit in Los Angeles and get Shrine supplies packed into 2 volunteer vehicles (rear seats can lay down or be taken out) and Rev. Izumi’s vehicle. Please be able to bend, carry, and move up to 15 pounds. When the item is set up, please store the boxes in an orderly manner out of site. Please make sure the ceremony site is clean and there is no trash on the floor.
