What is “十種神宝Tokusa-no-kamdakara”?

Tokusa-no-kamdakara is the ten sacred treasuries from Amatsu Kami (heavenly deities) in Takamagahara. When Umashimajima-no-mikoto’s (enshrined deity of Mononobe Shrine) father, Nigihaya-no-mikoto came down from Takamagahara to Japan, he brought them from Takamagahara to Japan.

Tokusa-no-kamudakara is: Okitsu-kagami, Hetsu- kagami, Yatsuka-no-tsurugi, Iku-tama, Makaruhaheshi-no-tama, Taru-tama, Chikaeshi-no-tama, Orochi-no-hire, Hachi-no-hire, Kusagusa-no-mono-no-hire.
