We have some super happy news to share! The couple for whom we held the Fertility Gokitō on New Year's Day were delighted to confirm that the wife got pregnant the very next month! Our main deity is Inari, so the couple received his blessing! We just performed their Safe Delivery Gokitō, which is traditionally held on the 5th month of the pregnancy on the day of Dog. We did a remote Gokitō, connecting with them via speakerphone, and we also sent the Safe Delivery omamori, album book, car sign (pregnant mother/baby-on-board) omamori, maternity band, and rice from offerings. Rev. Hasegawa was very honored to pick the kanji for their Japanese name! Omedetō gozaimasu! Congratulations!
