When a person reaches the age of adulthood, they visit a Shinto Shrine and show appreciation for their growth. Then the joining of an individual into the ranks of adults is reported to the Kami-sama. The now adult man or woman gives gratitude to their parents and/or the people around them who helped raise them. As a new member of society, they take a vow of contribution to society and then pray for divine protection.

The service fee is a minimum donation of $50 and includes one Omamori.
