In order to give people in Tōhoku encouragement and let them know we care and still remember, we are going to have a Zoom meeting for tonight’s Irei-sai in addition to the YouTube channel.

We will take videos and screenshots of participants who are paying respect to show to people in Tōhoku. 

We will also archive those images and videos on the Shrine’s website.

This year is the 10th anniversary of 東日本大震災 the Great East Earthquake
and Tsunami in Tōhoku which occurred on March 11th, 2011 Japan time.
  The Shinto Shrine of Shusse Inari in America will hold its Shinto Memorial Service: Irei-sai on March 10th which is March 11th in Japan. 

     We plan to live-stream the service on YouTube starting at 7:00 pm (PST) on the “ShintoInari” YouTube channel. We hope that you can join us wherever you may be at the time.

When visiting a shrine it’s traditional to perform the following actions:
Temizu/wash hands and mouth with water
Face the proper direction (Los Angeles)
