Showing Respect and Appreciation and Asking for Blessings from the Nature Spirits
On January 1st, Shinto Shrine of Shusse Inari in America will hold the first monthly Tsukinami-sai Shinto ceremony of 2023 to show respect, appreciation, and ask for blessings from the nature spirits. Because we have some new and renewed members, we will combine the ceremony with a celebration of the member’s induction. Also for those of our members who will be having a birthday this month, we will hold a birth-month Kigan Gokitō blessing after the conclusion of the ceremony.
We plan to live-stream the ceremony on YouTube starting at 3:00 p.m (PST) on the channel “ShintoInari.” We hope that you can join us wherever you are. You will have the perspective of a participant for this ceremony.
This month’s Closing Talk will be released with the archive videos. If you are interested in hearing the Closing Talk, please become a member through our website ShintoInari.org or Patreon.com/ShintoInari.
We welcome osaisen (donations). When you participate in the live-stream ceremony it is the same as when you visit a Shinto Shrine.
Your donation allows us to keep holding these ceremonies and other events.
May the Nature Spirits/Kami-sama be with you!
